Classic Holidays Celebrates A Solid 35 Year History
It was a night of celebration at EAST, Broadbeach, on Australia’s Gold Coast, on Friday 12th July as employees of Classic Holidays gathered to acknowledge an outstanding milestone of 35 years since the company was founded.
The award winning Resort and Club Management Company threw an “End of Financial Year Function” at the popular nightlife and entertainment venue located in the hub of the Gold Coast’s premier shopping and business precinct.
Ramy Filo, CEO, Classic Holidays thanked guests for attending during his speech, and when commenting on their part in the company’s success and longevity he said, “These are the people we all put our trust in to do their part to ensure our success. We all rely on each other no matter what our role is in the organisation.”
Founded in 1978 by George Tawaf, Classic Holidays grew from its humble beginnings to become Australia’s largest privately owned resort and club management company, responsible for over 650 employees and looking after almost 50,000 club members throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Much of its success and growth is attributed to Classic’s philosophy to take care of its members first and foremost. Testament to this is the numerous awards Classic Managed Resorts have won for customer service. Recent accolades have included TripAdvisor “Travellers Choice” and TripAdvisor “Certificate of Excellence” awards for 2013 plus Classic Holidays’ Perspective Magazine’s “Best Management Company” Award for the second year running in 2013. Guest satisfaction rates echo these awards with an outstanding 97% of guests surveyed saying that resort staff exceeded their expectations when it came to customer service and courtesy, and 90% said they already plan to vacation with Classic Holidays again.
So the “End of Financial Year Function” was as much about celebrating the value of the company’s employees as it was marking the incredible 35 year milestone.
