Classic Escapes Growth Spurs Office Move

We’ve had a huge change here at Classic with the move into our stunning new premises at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.

“Thanks to the success of the Classic Escapes product we launched some years ago, the Classic Group has been expanding consistently and we simply outgrew our previous premises at Miami” said CEO, Ramy Filo.

“Delivering an extremely high level of customer service is very important to us and Bermuda Point allows us to expand our capabilities to a 100-seat call centre, which will certainly enable us to better deliver on our service promise to our members” Ramy said.

Early March saw some 150 staff move into a space that will comfortably hold 225. The extra capacity allows for expansion so we can continue to focus on product innovation and enhancement and superior service to meet the growing needs of our members.

The brief to the designers was as much open plan areas as possible to fit with the company’s open culture.  This, combined with bold colours, contrasting timber features, a viewing window from Reception, state-of-the-art communications and a quirky, artistic meeting area, has resulted in a clean, modern environment.

And in line with our Workplace Sustainability Initiative, Bermuda Point’s innovative design means the building maintains an energy consumption of up to 35% less than many conventional office buildings
