Classic Holidays Managed Resorts Get A Facelift!

Two of Classic Holidays’ iconic Managed Resorts recently underwent major refurbishment programs.

Classic Holidays popular Managed Resorts, Beach Seaside Resort at Coolangatta, and Tiki Village International Resort in the heart of Surfers Paradise, recently underwent major refurbishments.

“Our resort refurbishment programs underpin Classic’s commitment to continual improvement to ensure our apartments stay modern and fresh. We must remain competitive, particularly on the Gold Coast where holiday accommodation is plentiful” said Denise Price, Resort Operations Manager for Classic Holidays.

Beach House’s $7 million refurbishment has resulted in a thoroughly modern and welcoming environment that the Board, management and staff are extremely proud of. The Board and Classic were committed to employing as many local contractors as possible, which provided secure employment for a 3-year period during a downturn in the global economy. The end result was that the refurbishment came in on time and on budget.

At Tiki, $2.2 million has given the units a modern, contemporary feel and the use of modern colours and a slick design for the Foyer and Reception have completely removed any trace of the ‘80s.

“We predominantly used local contractors, including some who were involved in the first refurbishment back in 1994, as well as our very talented maintenance team!” said Denise.
