Requests & Exchanges
What are my chances of getting an exchange in NZ or AUS during peak or high demand times? We recommend listing your request as far in advance as possible to improve the likelihood of receiving a match during special events, festivals, holiday or peak/high demand periods. Holidaying outside of holiday and special event periods will increase your chances of securing an exchange week at your desired destination.
What happens to my week if I cancel my confirmed exchange?
Your week will be reinstated to its original expiry date provided that your booking is cancelled at least 60 days prior to confirmed arrival date. Classic Holidays offers members a Cancellation Protection Option (CPO) for added protection when you need to cancel between 60 days and 48 hours ahead of confirmed arrival date.
Where can I find information on Tours, Cruises and Car rental online? When can I book?
We are in the process of establishing a Travel centre for our New Zealand members; keep an eye on the website and emails for updates and further information.
What contact details should I use?
Will this affect my levy?
Maintenance levies are calculated on what it cost to run your resort the previous year. Resort committees/boards, which are voted in by each resort’s members, set all annual levies and, when required, special levies.
Is the Monad office moving?
No, we will continue to operate from the current office in Christchurch, but we are looking to move to larger premises to accommodate the expanded services we’ll be offering (eg travel, exchange).
Can I still use the Monad website?
Of course. Keep visiting the website for any information, updates or announcements.
Will my Monad owner # change?
There will be no requirement to change your owner number. However, as Monad and Classic use the same booking system, we will be working to streamline these systems in the future. If any conflicts emerge, we will consult affected members immediately.
